LAETHEM, May Sylvia, 94, of Zephyrhills, went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2012. She was born in Washington Station, Durham, England on May 15, 1918. She was formerly from Detroit Michigan and moved to Zephyrhills in 1964. She was an avid member of St Elizabeth's Episcopal Church for many years. She was a domestic house keeper and worked for several of the towns' businesses. She enjoyed bowling, camping and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, John who passed in 1970; son, Raymond; and grandson, John Laethem II. Survivors include daughter, Kathy (Ken) Mackley of Lakeland; son, Michael (Deborah) Laethem of Bastrop, TX; 2 granddaughters, Christina Dale of Victoria, TX and Jennifer Mackley of Sarasota; 2 grandsons, Cory Leinonen of Greer, SC and Scott Mackley of Lakeland; great granddaughter, Tristyn Leinonen of Michigan; great grandson, Johnathan Dale of TX. A Memorial Service will take place at 10 Am, November 17th at St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church of Zephyrhills.
