Suzanne Faye DeRosier was born on August 30, 1955. She grew up in San Antonio, Florida, the youngest of six daughters of Leo J. DeRosier and Helen DeRosier, now deceased. Suzanne is survived by four of her sisters and their families: Jean Guerrieri, Carol Sharer (Bruce), Patsy Shafchuk, and Irene DeRosier, and many nephews and nieces. Suzannes journey is worthy of special celebration because she cherished her life in spite of her long suffering from the immense difficulty of a severe mental illness that began not long after this photo was taken. She was buoyed by her love of others and her sense of humor. She will be remembered at a memorial Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church on State Road 52 in Hudson, Florida. The Service will take place on Thursday, February 9th at 11:00 am. Directly after the Mass, the family will bring her to her final resting place near her grandparents, her parents, and her sister Leone Schambeau in the Garden of Memories cemetery in San Antonio.
