After battling Alzheimer's for several years on June 16, 2023, Sue Ann Engmark Flattley passed away while in the care of Hospice.

Sue Ann was born in Grayling Michigan on August 5th, 1940, the oldest of four children to parents Joseph Engmark and Edith Ellis Engmark.

Sue Ann grew up in Gaylord Michigan and was in the first class that graduated from Perry High School in 1958. She married her husband Neil Wayne Flattley Sr. (Bear) on May 2, 1963, and they were blessed with three children Wayne, Vince, and Adell.

The family moved to Zephyrhills Florida in 1984 and Sue Ann earned her CNA license and worked as a nurse's aide until she retired in 2005.

Sue Ann was a lifelong member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She adored her family and was a beloved mother to Neil Wayne Flattley Jr, (Wendy), George Vincent Flattley (Janet), and Adell Stisher (Roy). She was a loving grandmother to James Neil Flattley, John Vincent Flattley (Kendall), Gabrielle Elisa Griffith, and Whitney Elisabeth Griffith, and she was a great-grandmother to Magnolia Nicole Flattley.

Sue Ann was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Edith, her brother Joseph, and her husband Neil.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association directly or on Sue Ann's Tribute page.
