Steven "German" Dieckober 70, of Dade City, FL passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at his home. He was born October 6, 1946 in Elwood, Indiana and was a longtime area resident. He worked for both Lykes-Pasco Packing Company and Pasco County as a Mechanic Technician. Steve was a member of the Dade City Masonic Lodge, the Dade City Moose Lodge, The Knights of Columbus and was an Usher at St. Rita's Catholic Church where he attended for over 40 years. He is survived by his children: Maggie and Joey; 2 sisters: Regina "Jean" Farr, Cheryl Dickover; 1 brother: Tom Dickover; and 6 grandchildren: Taylor, Shea, Talia, Tara, Grayson and Zofia. Funeral Mass will be held 11am Friday, September 22, 2017 at St. Rita's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends for viewing from 6-8pm Thursday evening at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. Visitation
