Stella Tomblin Coleman died peacefully at Rucki Hospice Care Center on July 8, 2021 in Zephyrhills, FL at the age of 81.

Stella is survived by her children Sheryl Stire, Richard Coleman, and Brian M. Coleman all of Zephyrhills, FL. Her grandchildren Amber Stire of Fort Collins, CO, Brian C. Coleman of Dade City, FL and great-granddaughter Stella Stire of Fort Collins, CO. Her sister Esta (Bob) Watson of Wayne, WV.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald "Jerry" Stire of Lumberport, WV. Her parents Robert Tomblin of Zephyrhills, FL, and Cora Tomblin of Wayne, WV. Her siblings Elmer (Genevieve)Tomblin of Sparta, Ohio, Thelma Tomblin of Dunlow, WV, Lucille (Henry) Ramey of Zephyrhills, FL, Lorene (Johnie) Spence of Wayne, WV, Ethel (George) Ramey of Zephyrhills, FL, and Paul Tomblin of Dunlow, WV.

Stella was born on May 23, 1940 in Dunlow, WV to Robert and Cora Tomblin. She married Gerald "Jerry" Stire in 1958. Their daughter Sheryl was born two years later. Jerry, a Navy man, moved the family around the country before passing away in 1965 in Hawaii. Stella remarried in 1971 and had two sons Richard and Brian Coleman. Her children remember her as being a generous and selfless mother.

A memorial is scheduled for 3pm on July 11, 2021 at New River Church in Zephyrhills, FL with a reception to follow. Pastor Christopher Swisher will officiate the ceremony.
