On August 6, 2021, our Dad held the door for Mother to enter heaven, he gave her one hour to collect her wings and then joined her to collect his. Mom and Dad were a lifelong love story for the world to witness and an amazing blessing for us to enjoy. Mom and Dad loved, lived, grew together and they walked hand in this world and entered heaven together to see the sunrise. Mom was born September 15, 1946, in Elizabethtown, KY, she was always employed but her most important job was to be Dad's partner and our eternally graceful governess. Her joy came from raising her family, sharing time with her siblings, and most cherished talks and visits with her sisters. Dad was born July 3, 1944, in Vine Grove, KY. He joined the Army soon after meeting and marrying our mother. Shortly after they started our family, we moved to Germany and many other places over the years; enjoying every adventure with the Army and our family. Mother was always by his side, they shared joys and heartbreaks, holding hands, always together. They raised a family, an extended family, and planted so many seeds of love throughout their life. Our family will honor their life with praise and celebration. They were preceded in death by their precious Granddaughter, Cherie Nicole Turner. They are survived by their children, Cynthia Lynn Porcelli (Danny), Sharon Laverne Turner (Kenny), Kevin Wade Yancy (Lorri), Caroline Ann Hamrick (Tommy). Their Grandchildren, Christina Porcelli-Wilson, Cynthia-Nikki Lingenfelter (Dan), Andrea Yancy, Matthew Yancy, Emerson Porcelli-Wilson, Tom III Hamrick, Ian Hamrick, Molly Hamrick, Zy'Tierra Porcelli, Destiny Porcelli, Dalailah Turner-Lamb, Deja-rae Turner-Forman, and Stormi-Iris Lingenfelter. We are blessed with the surviving siblings of our parents to share life stories with us. Dad's sister, Joellen Forcum. Mother's siblings, Sandy Vernon, Joan Sanders, Debbie Asbell, Larry Ray, Terry Ray, and Bobby Ray. We will have services at Hodges Funeral Home, 11441 Hwy 301, Dade City, Florida on August 14, 2021, viewing at 1pm, and services following.
