Sonya "Nonnie" Marlyn Green, 52, of Bushnell, Florida, passed away suddenly on July 31, 2025, at TGH Brooksville.

Born on July 12, 1973, in Lakeland, Florida, to Jimmy and Rita Green, Sonya was a lifelong resident of the area and a proud graduate of Pasco Comprehensive High School.

Sonya is survived by her mother, Rita Green. Her children; Luke Murray, Nicole Oden (Matt) and Andrew McWaters. Her grandchildren; Asya, Liam, Jaxon, Isaac, Hazel, and Scarlet. Her siblings; Mark Green, Jo Ann Allison (Jeff), and John Green; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Green, and her brother, Matt Green (Denise).

She loved Football, an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, she was an extraordinary cook, and enjoyed traveling. She especially loved being a Grammy to her grandbabies. The love she had for them was immeasurable. Her life truly revolved around her family.

The passing of Sonya has left a huge hole in the hearts of her family. She will be missed immensely.
