Sonny Lee Adams, 71, died March 11th, 2024 at his home in Wesley Chapel, Florida. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 20th, at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 US Hwy 301, Dade City followed by internment close by at Floral Memory Gardens, 37701 County Rd 52 Alt / Clinton Ave, Dade City. Sonny was born on 29th of September, 1952 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey to Morris W. and Verna R. Adams. Sonny graduated from King High School in 1971 and worked in the construction industry as a contractor, estimator, foreman, and business owner. Sonny married Jean R. Adams and raised 2 sons. Sonny's hobbies included golf, NFL games (Green Bay Packers was his favorite team), watching the Olympics, helping infirm poor elderly people and abandoned animals, computers, walking, sightseeing, and nature. He was a deacon, loved our Savior and Lord Jesus, and owned his own small construction business. Sonny was an honorable person, who was caretaking, loving, kind, forgiving, fun and humorous, smart and quick-witted. Sonny is survived by his sisters, Rhonda M. Adams and Billie-Jean Adams Lundberg, also his mother, Verna R. Adams, also his brother-in-Christ, John Lee, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins in the Adams and Rittenhouse families.
