Simone Mompoint 89, of Wesley Chapel, Fl died peacefully on Thursday January 14, 2016 at the Gulfside Hospice. Simone better known as Wawa is the widow of Ren Mompoint Sr. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic church in Fort Lauderdale where she resided prior to moving recently to Wesley Chapel. She is survived by her children: Mr. & Mrs. Ren Mompoint Jr., Ms. Maryse Mompoint, Mr. & Mrs. Rudolf Mompoint. Let us not leave out her spiritual sons: Mr. & Mrs. Karl Lamarque and Mr. & Mrs. Yvon Gedeon. Her grandchildren: Regine and husband Clifford, Veronique and husband Marco, Clarissa and husband Miguel, Christine and husband Yuri, Christopher, Anthony and Alexander. Her great-grandchildren: Sbastien, Annabelle, Fabrice, Gaielle, Nicholas and Marissa.Wawas favorite holiday was Christmas. She enjoyed the cooking and entertaining. She loved spending the time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. Wawa loved life she loved to dance, read, watch her novelas and socialize. She consistently loved to impart important life lessons to us; above all to love and cherish God, to love each other and always stay close. Unity in the family has always been very important to her; until she was called to heaven. She was a very strong spiritual woman. She was a scholar, teacher, leader, friend, aunt, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and most of all an extraordinary woman!The funeral will be held at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, San Antonio, FL.
