Gousse, Simone, 89, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, died peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital. Simone better known as "Mommy Momone" is the widow of Roger Gousse. She is survived by her children, Ralph and wife Ninotte Gousse, Ronald and wife Cecile Gousse, Elizabeth and Herve Salomon, and Beatrice and husband Kervens Noel; grandchildren, Stephane Gousse and wife Diane, Anne isabelle Monde, Sagine Gousse, Daphnee Noel, Melissa Gousse, Roger Gousse, Rejane Noel, Ranley Gousse and wife Britani, Ricardo Noel, Herve Junior Salamon, and Ryan Gousse; great grandchildren, Tai Gousse, Grayson Gousse, Giovanni Noel, Julian Gousse, and Kellen Gousse. She is also survived by her brother Max Thevenot and wife Lilianne, and many nieces and nephews. Let's not forget her spiritual great-granddaughter Madison Allwood. Mommy Momone was a very loving mother who demonstrated lots of strength and faith throughout her illness of the years. The most precious thing to Mommy Momone was spending time with family. Her favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was a very strong spiritual woman. She was a scholar, teacher, leader, friend, aunt, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and most of all she was an AMAZING WOMAN! Family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Hodges Family Funeral, Elizabeth and husband Home 36327 Highway 54, Zephyrhills, Florida. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Collier Parkway at Land O Lakes, FL. Family will recieve friends from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Church.
