Pete Odom, Pasco County, Florida, passed away on Wednesday January 24, 2024 after a brief illness. Pete was born in Ocala, Florida and graduated from Ocala High School in 1955. He moved to Pasco County during 1975.

Petes business was tires and he knew his business well, but his love was for his community. He was a long time member of Rotary and The Dade City Chamber of Commerce as well as a Free Mason. If you look closely you will see his handiwork in many of the events that are still held today.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lela "Granny" Lamb, his sister Francis Elizabeth Cooty, and his granddaughter Jennifer Renee Odom. Pete is survived by his companion Yvonne Sickler Agner; his sons; Sidney P. Odom (Alecia): Gregory P. Odom, Kenneth W. Odom (Anne), his daughter; Leslie Odom Lamb (Bubba); his granddaughter Jessica Gaskin (Allen); his grandsons: Jason Lamb (Danielle) and Joshua Lamb (Rebecca), four great grandsons and two great granddaughters.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 starting at 4:00PM at Hodges Family Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 11441 US-301, Dade City, Florida 33525. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until time for the service to begin.
