Shirley A. (Hintze) Willis, age 67, of San Antonio, FL, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2023. She was born on February 7, 1956 to Alfred Lloyd Hintze and Mary Alice Rice Hintze in Brooksville, FL. Shirley and Donnie married on April 22, 1972 and spent 52 years together. They had three daughters: Cindy, Janice and Debbie. She was a loving wife, mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma. She was always there to bake or cook for all of her family whenever they wanted something that only she could make (or so we let her believe because some things are just better when mom/Grandma made it). She always enjoyed making homemade Christmas cookies with all of her grandbabies. We could always count on Grandma and Papa if any of us needed help with anything. She left us with a huge whole in our hearts but we know we will see her again one day. Shirley is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donnie Willis. Her three daughters: Cindy Dyal (Richie Birchfield), Janice Willis (Robert Costarella) and Debbie Willis. Her Grandchildren: Samantha (Tara) Dyal, Shannon Dyal (Sally Laurenti), Logan Dyal, Phillip "Josh" (April) Wilson, Tyrel Wilson (Kiara Singleton), Lane Salinas, Elaine Salinas, Brandon Willis (Audrey Pease) and Jocelyn Nichols. Her Great-Grandchildren: Kali, Rosie & JJ. Her brother: Robert Lethco and her sisters Tonya (Tommy Langdo) and Karen (Chad) Perry. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd (Sue) Hintze and Mary Alice (Ronnie) Lethco and her sister, Marie Batchik. The family would like to invite everyone to A Celebration of Life to be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 12:00 pm at King Lake Clubhouse.
