Loyed-Hattaway, Shirley Joan, 57 of Dade City, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in Dade City under the care of Gulfside Regional Hospice. She was born October 27, 1955 in Dade City to James Loyd & Opal Cauley Carr and was a lifelong area resident. She was a Cosmetologist and a member of the First Baptist Church of Lacoochee. She is survived by her husband: Bruce Hattaway; son: Travis & Lana Loyed, San Antonio, FL; daughter: Amy Loyed, Blairsville, PA; sister: Joyce & Wilbur Morgan, Seminole, FL, June & Jr. Cunningham, Dade City, FL; brother: Mike & Roz Carr, Dade City, FL; 5 grandchildren: Megan Loyed, Emily Loyed, Trevelyan Loyed, Liam Loyed-Hemingway and Kali Jo Kieth. Funeral services will be held 2pm Monday, January 28, 2013 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for viewing one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or those that wish may make donations in her memory to Gulfside Regional Hospice.
