Shirley Mae Kreider, August 3, 1938 - February 16, 2026

Shirley was born on a farm in Jonestown, PA, to Charles and Stella Stamm, she was one of six children.

Shirley’s career included working on the family farm until she was sixteen years old. She was then employed at the Myerstown Shirt Factory and finally retired from the Myerstown Bayer plant after thirty-three years of employment.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Lloyd Kreider, having been married for 69 years. Her two sons, Jeffery Kreider of California and Kevin Kreider (Lorna) of Zephyrhills, FL. Grandchildren: David Kreider, Jeremy Kreider, Sarah Kreider, Daniel Kreider (Carly), and Abigail Roark (Paul). Great Grandchildren: Caroline, Chloe, Landon, Ezra, Weston, Ava, Alice, Molly, and Jordan.

Many of Shirley and Lloyd’s lifetime activities included roller skating, riding a tandem bicycle, traveling around the country on a motorcycle, and camping. They sold their home in Myerstown, PA in 1996 to travel the country full-time in a motorhome until settling down in Zephyrhills, FL in 2005 to the present. Shirley was very active in her Betmar Park community in Zephyrhills for many years. She was placed in the memory care unit of Gardens of Westbrook in June of 2024.
