Shirley Anne Finch, age 79, of Dade City, Florida passed away at her home on November 20, 2023. She was Born on August 25, 1944, in Passadumkeag, Maine. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Madeline Smart; siblings Manson, Herbert, Joseph, Douglas, Geraldine, and Joan; her first husband Carl M. Dunn Sr.; her daughter Stephanie Dunn; her son Dennis Sullivan; and her daughter-in-law Kristina Dunn. She was a graduate of Howland High School, class of 1963. She made a career of caring for others, either with the elderly or for people with special needs. Shirley enjoyed sewing, knitting, riding a motorcycle, and camping. She especially loved her home on the lake and kayaking, along with time spent around the campfire with friends and family. Most importantly, she enjoyed having her grandchildren by her side. She also loved walking on beaches looking for sea glass and sand dollars. Shirley is survived by her husband Chuck Finch; her children Jean Rustin, Valerie Madden (Harold), Carl Dunn Jr.; special son-in-law Wesley Rustin Jr; grandchildren Jillian St. Lawrence (Charles), Jacob Madden, Shawna Rideout (Andrew), Kaitlyn Dunn, Eli Kahn, Hannah and Ryan Bickford and Natalie Dunn; great-grandchildren Charles Jr, Brett, Madeline, and Haven; and many special nieces and nephews including Joe, Jolita, Dylan and Dustin Finch, Natalia, Remington, Selena, Kelsey, J.J., and Nah'La. Graveside services will be announced in the spring.
