Shirley Jane Dally, 89, of Zephyrhills, died Thursday, January 18, 2018.

Shirley was born July 25, 1928, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Stella and Clarence McConnell.

Shirley married the love of her life, Russell D. Dally on October 9, 1950. Their daughter, Victoria (Robert) Clarke was born on June 23, 1951.

Shirley attended high school at Peters Township and was a lifelong member of Center Presbyterian Church. She started playing golf at the age of 35 and became a Club Champion at Lindenwood. She also had FOUR career hole in ones.

Shirley and Russell moved to Zephyrhills, Florida in 1997. Shirley enjoyed playing golf, gardening, bird watching, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Shirley's pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her family with all of her heart.

Shirley is predeceased by her beloved daughter Vicki; her parents Stella and Clarence McConnell; and her siblings, Lois Guthrie, Loren McConnell, and Gerald Clair McConnell. She is survived by her husband Russell; her three grandchildren, Amanda (Daniel) Greene, Jordan Clarke, and Ashley Clarke; her great-grandchildren Ethan and Dexter Greene; many nieces and nephews; and her cat Tom whom she adored. Shirley had a special relationship with her nephew Bob (Jan) Guthrie.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children or an animal charity of your choice.
