Shirley Cannon, 86 of Tampa, Florida passed away on July 20, 2025, at her home. Shirley

was born on December 2,1938 in Richmond, Indiana to Gladys Wyatt and Elmer Rentfrow.

She married the love of her life on January 4, 1957, John R. Cannon. The family proudly

served in the U.S. Army and lived all over the U.S., Europe and Asia. Shirley is survived by

her daughters, Lynn Moody (Gordon) and Angelee Cannon Marsh of Tampa, Florida and her

brothers; Ron Rentfrow of Long Beach, California, and Dale Allen Rentfrow (Joy) of Clinton,

Maryland. Shirley is predeceased by her husband, John R. Cannon; her sons, John Cannon

II and Terrance Cannon; her siblings Marilyn Sanderson and Darrell Rentfrow. She loved

sewing and traveling, taking many family vacations. She loved Mexico and anywhere out

west. Per Shirley's requests there will be no services.
