Shirley Ann Alderman was born on August 12, 1938, in Tampa, FL to the late George H. Packwood and Anna Packwood.

She graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, FL in 1953

She worked for Exchange Bank for 10 years, Ballroller Bering Company for a long time where she touched so many lives during that time.

Shirley was a member of the First Baptist Church Dade City, FL where she was known for rocking the babies to sleep in the church nursery. She worked in the church nursery for 23 years.

Some of her favorite hobbies included picture puzzles, art, and she was a stock market guru. She loved to go on cruises with her husband and they did a total of 64 cruises, 10years of snow skiing in Colorado, and 12 years of visiting Lighthouses all over the world.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband Charles Alderman of 61 years. Charles felt like Shirley was the best wife God could've blessed him with.

Services will be held on August 27, 2024, with visitation starting at 10 and service at 11. Location will be at Hodges Family Funeral Home Chapel 11441 Hwy 301 Dade City, FL. Immediately after the service the burial will be at the Myrtle Hill Memorial Park 4202 E. Lake Ave Tampa, FL 33610
