Sheryl Lynn Etringer, 72, of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 22, 1953 in St. Petersburg, FL (but raised on Long Island, NY), she was the daughter of Dawn Nix. Sheryl built a life defined by dedication, love, and unwavering commitment to those she held dear. For 54 beautiful years, she was the devoted wife and partner to her beloved husband, Rich, creating a home filled with warmth and lifelong memories.

Sheryl’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was an exceptional mother to her two sons, Matt and David, guiding them with love and endless support. Her heart grew even larger when she became a grandmother; she absolutely adored her two grandchildren, Chase and Rory, and cherished every moment spent watching them grow. Her legacy of unconditional love and kindness, will live on forever in the hearts of her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rich; her two sons, Matt Etringer (Jen) and David Etringer (Elizabeth, fiancée); and her two adored grandchildren, Chase and Rory. She was preceded in death by her mother Dawn.

A celebration of Sheryl’s life will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society or Moffitt Cancer Center.
