Shellie Dee Snyder, 54, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on 13 Jun 2021. The celebration of life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on 20 June 2021 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 301 Chapel, Dade City, FL. Shellie was born in Clearwater, FL on 9 Feb 1967. She attended Largo High School and continued her education receiving an Associate Degree in Dental Assistant with expanding functions in 2004. Shellie was married to Mike Snyder on 30 May 2012; they were married nine short years. Shellie worked as an Administrative Specialist for Duke Energy for five years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She reveled in Jeep outings, kayaking, fishing, VFW gatherings, and Social Butterfly activities. Shellie is survived by her husband, Mike R. Snyder, daughter Meagan L. Maguire James, brother John L. Metzger Jr. and sister Stephanie Diane Metzger Toth, mother Dottie McDowell Metzger Strinka, grandchildren Ronald, Jacob, and Tyler James, and nephew, Michael Metzger. She also is survived by her four dogs, Molly, Eugene, Wrangler, and Rubi. Shellie is preceded in death by her father John L. Metzger Sr., sister, Deborah Metzger.
