Sheila Marlene Smith of Saint Leo, FL died quietly at home after a long illness on August 15, 2022, at the age of 73.

She was an accomplished artist and held degrees from Eastern Michigan University and Wayne State University.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gregory P. Smith, and her son, Ethan F. Smith, Ethans wife, Inca Arechiga, and granddaughter Madelyn Smith.

Remembrances are being planned for family and friends in Michigan, California, and Florida.
