IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sharon
Simpson
September 25, 1941 – June 3, 2025
Sharon " Shonny" Simpson, age 83 , loving mother of four and adoring wife to husband Edward Simpson, passed away in the early morning hours of June 3 after a courageous battle with Parkinson's. Sharon was born in 1941 in Tennessee and moved to Florida as a young toddler. She was one of four children and had lots of aunts and uncles. Sharon was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others, and she incorporated that into motherhood. She met her husband Edward in 1963 and formed a family of their own. As a mother, she was loving, generous, kind, and patient.
In her free time, Sharon loved to travel, sew, garden, but most of all, she enjoyed time with all of her Grandchildren and family. She carried on the tradition of hosting Sunday dinners at home and enjoyed telling stories and reminiscing. She also had a special place in her heart for the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Sharon is survived by her husband Edward of 60 years, 4 children- Barry, Kane, Trudi & Sherri, 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Ruby and James Payne, and Grandson Eddie Boyette.
