KELLAR, Sharon Lee, 81, of Dade City, FL, entered into eternal rest on October 11, 2021 in Dade City, FL. She was born on October 24, 1939 in Muskegon, MI, to parents, Harry and Evalyn Grasmeyer, who also had a son, Jim Grasmeyer.
She spent a great majority of her life living in various parts of Michigan, including Muskegon, Kalamazoo, Westland, Northville, and Leland. On December 22nd, 1964, she married the love of her life, David Lawrence Kellar. She earned a degree in English from Western Michigan University, an MBA from Central Michigan and an Applied Science Associate Degree from Schoolcraft College in Livonia, MI. She loved her own education and teaching young minds. She worked as a teacher in Vicksburg, MI, and became a mother to her son, Charles David Kellar, then went back to work at an Insurance agency for a short while, then onto Michigan Bell where her husband also worked. Michigan Bell became Ameritech, where she eventually retired.
Sharon and David were avid travelers and were active member of the National Campers and Hikers Association (NCHA), For many years, they traveled quite extensively around the Unites States, but loved camping in their home state of Michigan the most. Sharon eventually moved to Florida, and resided in at Travelers Rest Resort in Dade City, FL.
Sharon became an accomplished watercolor artist and instructor for many years, she became a master certified teacher through the Terry Madden School in Florida and was President of the Zephyrhills Art Club.
She is survived by her son; Charles David Kellar, and her loyal furry four-legged companion, Josh, and a wealth of loyal and loving friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Harry and Evalyn Grasmeyer, and her husband; David Lawrence Kellar.
