Sharon "Sherry" Irene Hawley

October 3, 1942 – August 31, 2026

Sharon Irene Hawley, known to everyone as Sherry, passed away at the age of 83 on August 31, 2026. She was born on October 3, 1942 in Hamilton, OH.

Sherry was first married to Elbert Sheffstall, and together they raised four children: Tracie Jacobson, Robin Sheffstall, Timothy Sheffstall, and Genni Halas. She later married Rex Hawley, who brought three step-children into her life: Peter Hawley, Rachel Hawley, Rebecca Hawley, and Timothy “Tim” Hawley.

Sherry is survived by her four children, five grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Castle & Raymond Hauserman; her grandson, Steven Anges; and her husband, Rex Hawley.

Sherry spent her career working in a doctor's office, retiring after many years of dedicated service. She was known by all who loved her as an endlessly giving person, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. She also had a deep love for animals that stayed with her throughout her life.

Sherry will be deeply missed by her family and everyone whose life she touched.
