Sharon Ann Lierheimer Castle passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015 at her home in Zephyrhills FL after a courageous 8-year battle with cancer. She previously lived in Williamsport, PA for 30 years.She was born on December 26, 1938 in Mexico, MO, the only child of Ralph and Lillian Lierheimer. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO.A professional businesswoman ahead of her time, she spent a number of years working for Zenith Data Systems from her home in Williamsport PA selling computers to educational institutions in Pennsylvania and New York. Sharon was well known for her love of animals and her beautiful flower gardens in addition to being an accomplished quilter. She was always ready for anything at any time with many of her good friends.She was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Williamsport and recipient of the George F. Hixson Fellowship Award. The American Business Womens Association (ABWA), of which she was a member, awarded her the Business Woman of the Year. Sharon served on the Finance Committee of the YWCA of Williamsport. She was also an active member of Covenant Central Presbyterian Church and the Classic Thunderbird Club International. She was also the proud owner of a 1957 baby blue Thunderbird.Sharon is survived by her loving husband of almost 45 years, William T. (Bill) Castle; her six children: Robert (Bob) R. Castle and his wife, Markie; Janet M. Grainge and her fianc Byron Wills; Jeannie Hill and her husband, Mike; John Glen Castle; Sandra Prince; and TJ Castle and his wife, Erin.
