Shanna Marie (Simpkins) Beard 36, of Spring Hill passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016. She was born August 27, 1979 in Brooksville, FL to Columbus Edward & Diana Rose Ance Simpkins and was a lifelong area resident. Shanna was a descendant of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa & Chippewa Indians, a graduate of Hernando High School and Realtor. She is survived by the three loves of her life; husband and High school sweetheart of 18 years: Michael Beard, daughter: Jaysa Rae Bruckbauer, and Dog Lucci. mother: Diana R. Simpkins, father: Columbus E. Simpkins, brother: Gerald Edward Simpkins, sister: Kelly M. Bush, Aunt Barb & Uncle Dick, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws that loved her so much. She was preceded in death by her sister: Theresa Lynn Simpkins. Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home 11441 US HIGHWAY 301, Dade City, Florida 33525. Interment will follow at Brooksville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Visitation
