Scott Michael Somers, 54, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, passed away on the morning of October 26th surrounded by family.

Scott was born on July 31st, 1969 to Robert C. Somers and Denise Dawson in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He graduated from Masuk High School in Monroe, Connecticut in 1988. Scott was a boxer growing up and always had the fighting spirit. He had an infectious optimism that would spread to everyone around him. You could always feel his positive spirit.

In early 1990's, Scott met Linda, and they were united in marriage on March 16th, 1996. Together, they raised Amanda and Scotty Somers.

Scott was an important asset to VOLT Lighting, where he managed the Tampa warehouse. He was enthusiastic about his job and loved everything about it. As the second employee to be hired, he was a huge contributor to VOLTs success.

Scott is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Lena Somers, and Denise Dawson; and nephew JJ Agnello.

In addition to his loving wife Linda, and children Amanda and Scotty (Melissa), Scott is survived by his brothers, Robert, Tim, and Johnny; his sisters, Kim and Franca; and several nieces and nephews.
