Scott Richard Cottrell, 59, of Zephyrhills passed away October 19, 2025 in New Port Richey. He was born June 12,1966 in Rochester, NY to George and Patricia Cottrell. Scott had a passion for music. In his earlier years, he played the violin and piano. He recently was the music director at New Apostolic Church in Brooksville. He also served as a deacon in his church. Scott was an avid NY Buffalo Bills fan. He was preceded in death by his father, George in 2011. Survivors include his mother, Patricia Cottrell; brothers, Patrick (Phary) Cottrell and Jeff (Debbie) Cottrell; nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday, October 25th at New Apostolic Church of Brooksville.
