GIELLA, Saverio Spartico Sam passed away on July 14, 2012 in Dade City. Born in Yonkers, NY on April 11, 1930, he served in the United States Coast Guard and was a graduate of Florida Southern College. He was the co-owner of the Rainbow Inn Restaurant in Dade City with his brother Italo. He is survived by his wife and partner of 59 years Olivia Brooks, One Daughter Diana Greif (Jimmy), Sons Thomas (Lori), Michael and Louis. Sisters Ida Zucca (Bill) and Mary Giella, brother Italo (Myrtice). Grandchildren Shawn, Amanda Lagunes (Henry), Justin, Dylan and Travis. He is preceded by his parents Thomas & Josephine and sister Mary Grace. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 18th from 12:00 pm until service time at 1:00 pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home 11441 Hwy 301 Dade City. Mr. Giella will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Gardens, Hwy 301 Dade City. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to HPH Hospice, East Pasco Care Center 37429 Clinton Ave. Dade City, FL 33525. Their care and concern was of great comfort to the Giella Family.
