Sandra Kaye Jackson aka "Sam" of Chicago, IL. passed away suddenly of cancer on May 30, 2019. Sam was born on May 26, 1967, to parents Fred and Martha Blackston. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Cathy Smithson, and mother in law Sharon Higginbotham. She is survived by her Fianc James Clifford Crawley, stepson; Derek Crawley, sister; Wanda Jackson, sister in law; Cyndee and Paul Wood, and brother; Fred Blackston, nieces; Krystal Jackson, Amanda Fugate, Theresa Spears, Nina Cagle, Melissa Cagle, Ashley Wood, nephews; Michael Blackston, Justin Jackson, Charlie Dunn, and Joshua Wood, Great nieces and nephews; Aaron and Ayden Blackston, Azia and Ally Jackson, Kayla Fugate,and Ariana Rangel Wood. Sam was always a high energy outgoing person who loved life and was always happy. She always talked about God and prayed for many. Sam loved Auburn, her favorite color was purple and she loved to swim the Warrior River of Alabama with her sister Wanda. Her family was everything to Sam. She loved every one. She will be forever loved and never forgotten. There will be a celebration of life on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from 11-1pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel in Dade City Florida,
