Gant, Sammy, 49 of Brooksville, FL passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his home. He was born November 30, 1963 in Dade City and was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by his wife: Jeannette Marie Gant; 8 children: Melynda Gant, Andrea Gant, Lyric Martin, Samuel E. Gant, Andrew Gant, Trystan Gant, Samantha Gant, Wyatt Gant; 4 grandchildren: Raquel Ramirez, Jaylynn Gilbert, Waylyn Gilbert, Jordan Gilbert; his parents: Beverly & Keith Lambert, Jimmy & Linda Gant; 7 siblings: Pam Harper, Randy Gant, Dale Gant, Scott Lambert, Betty Finch, Steven Gant, Johnny Gant; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held 10am Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. The family will receive friends for viewing from 5-7pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or those that wish may make donations in his memory to help with funeral expenses.
