Ruth T. Sowinski passed away peacefully on January 16, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin G. Sowinski. She was a devoted mother to Nancy(Roger), Keith(Caryn) and Michael(Carrie). She was a wonderful grandmother to Brent, Kelly, Kaylyn and David, as well as, great-grandmother to Kai and Kanoa. Ruth cherished her many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Ruth was born to Marion and Mary Wesolowski on December 13, 1928. She grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and had one brother Ralph and a sister Terri. She loved them very much. She is survived by her sister Dolores.

Ruth had a great faith in God and strived to emulate Christ in her Christian walk. She was a member of Light of Christ Catholic Church Clearwater, FL, and was especially active in the Holy Family Circle. Ruth and her husband Marvin were also active in the Marine Corp League, Clearwater, Fl. She had many interests mainly in homemaking, gardening, and arts and crafts. Ruth also worked for Weight Watchers in Clearwater.

There will be a celebration mass in her honor on Thursday, January 24 2019, 10:30 a.m. at Light of Christ Catholic Church 2176 Marilyn Street Clearwater, FL. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery at 2pm. A special thanks to the staff at Mease Manor, Dunedin, Beach House, Wesley Chapel and Gulfcoast Hospice, Pasco County for all the loving and supportive care.
