LaQUIRE, Ruth Ellen Simmons, 65, of Ridge Manor, Fla., passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, in Brooks-ville, Fla. She was born December 11, 1946 to Aubrey and Annis Simmons of Groveland, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don LaQuire. Ruth was a wonderful mother and a homemaker. She was a member of Trilby Chapter #89 where she served as Worthy Matron in 1992-92. Her passions were her grandson, Sean, her dachshunds and The Moody Blues. She is survived by her daughter, Denise of Ridge Manor; her grandson, Sean of Ridge Manor; her son, David LaQuire of Chattahoochie, Fla.; her sisters, Cathi Thacker of Atlanta, Ga, Beverly Simmons of Orlando and Christine Simmons of Casselbury, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews and loved ones and friends. An OES and memorial service is to be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10 am at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 14046 5th Street Dade City, Fla.
