85, of Dade City, Fl, passed away July 8, 2012 in Lakeland, Fl. She moved here from Clio, AL in 1948 and loved her garden and flowers. Ruth is predeceased by her parents; Walter T. Hicks, Emma Josephine Fralish Hicks; siblings; Mary Lee Newby, Earl Hicks(Jean), Johnny Hicks(Delores). Survived by her children; Roy Gulledge(Francie), Harold Gulledge(Charline); siblings; J.D. Hicks(Lanell), Wead Hicks(Nettie), 4 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Services to be held from 10-11:30am on Friday, July 13, 2012 with Hodges Family Funeral Home, at the Hwy 301 Chapel, Dade City, FL.
