Ruby Hodge 80, of Lacoochee, FL passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at her home. She was born January 23, 1938 in Lake Butler, FL to Roscoe & Donnie Hodges Parrish and moved to this area 72 years ago. She was a Homemaker and a faithful member of Oakridge Missionary Baptist Church. Ruby is survived by 9 children: Phyllis Strickland, Darlene Jordan (Steve), Mitchell Willoughby, Sharon Hodge, Leo Willoughby (Linda), James Hodge, Debbie Bullington, Lorraine Danella, Linda Alexander; 2 brothers: Rev. Eldridge Parrish (Judy), Wayne Parrish (Wilma); sister-in-law: Karen Parrish; brother-in-law: Russell Wright; daughter-in-law: Cindy Willoughby; 18 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jack Hodge; parents: Roscoe & Donnie Parrish; 2 sisters: Hollie Wright, Jean Dewey; and 1 brother: Amos Parrish. Funeral Services will be held 10am Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends for viewing from 5-7pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Gulfside Regional Hospice. Visitation
