Wallace, Roy LeBron 68, of Alabama, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 in Gardendale, AL. He was born August 28, 1947 in LaFayette, GA and moved to Alabama 5 years ago from Trilby, FL. He is survived by his son: Robbie Wallace, Queens, NY; 1 brother: J.D. Wallace, Remlap, AL; 2 sisters: Joan Collinsworth, Brandon, FL, Melba McAvoy, Warrior, AL; several nieces and nephews including: Rebecca McAvoy and Tracie White; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents: DeForest & Winell Wallace and 1 brother: Johnny Wallace. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home where a memorial service will take place at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in his name to either H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute or the American Cancer Society.
