Roy Rogers went to be with his Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. Mr. Rogers, passed away Saturday at 6:15 am, May 23, 2015 at Royal Oak Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, in Dade City, FL.Roy was born at home Dec. 15, 1942 in Giles County, Tenn. He was the son of Clifton Rogers and Bertha Mangrum. He was one of four children. He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy, and brother Tom. He is survived by his sister Caroline Stewart and niece Leann Stewart Drawdy, of Land O Lakes. He leaves behind six daughters, Diane Calliham, of Tampa, Delinda (Al) Brooks of Land O Lakes, Melinda Clark, of Kentucky, Lisa Parsons, of Zephyrhills, Betty (Dennis) Reeber of Tampa, Christy (Jason) Epleya of GA., Betty Clark, Mother of Diane, Delinda, Melinda and Lisa, of Zephyrhills, FL. Eight grand children, Dwayne, Josh, Jonathan, of KY., Sara and Brian, of Tampa, Chloe and Ryan, of GA ,Matthew Brooks, of Land O' Lakes, FL., also several great grand children.Roy moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1958, and had resided in Land O Lakes the last 22 years.
