Roy A. Laccone, age 62, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, in Wesley Chapel, FL. He is survived by his family; Katherine Laccone (wife), Anthony and Emi Laccone (son and daughter-in-law), Marisa Laccone (daughter), JoAnn and Arthur Christiano (sister and brother-in-law) and their daughter Jacqueline Christiano, Joseph and Francesca Laccone (twin brother and sister-in-law) and their children Joshua and Jayshawn Laccone, Deborah Roy-Jones and Bruce Jones (sister-in-law and husband) and their sons Adam and Bryan Jones, and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rita Laccone, his nephew Michael Christiano, and his mother-in-law Ruth Roy. Roy Laccone was born on January 2, 1960, in Waterbury, CT. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. After his military service, Roy transitioned to the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller before retiring in 2002. Roy enjoyed staying busy by renovating his home, working on cars, hosting friends at his home, and riding motorcycles with his wife. He always made it a point to help others with anything they needed and to be there for others. He also loved to joke around and have fun. That is how he would like to be remembered. No calling hours will be held. His family is honoring his wishes by having him cremated and the burial service will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
