Roy Okey Foster, age 83, passed away at his home in Webster, Florida on October 22, 2026. 

Roy was born in Oneota, Alabama to parents Okey and Connie Foster on April 6, 1943. Roy had 6 siblings: Robert, Benny, Johnny, Ray, Margaret, and Marvin. 

In 1972, Roy married Hilda “Skip” and together they raised six daughters: Tammy, Tina, Debbie, Lynette, Mandy, and April. He was a hard working family man who loved those around him more than anything. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping; Roy was a self-proclaimed cowboy by choice and a carpenter by trade. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Skip, who passed away on December 17, 2012. Roy is survived by his six daughters: April Lay of San Antonio, FL; Samantha Malone of Dade City, FL; Lynette Rowland of Tifton, GA; Debbie Hauff of Zephyrhills, FL; Tina Doyle of Crystal River, FL; and Tammy Poston of Winchester, VA. Roy was blessed with 22 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, all of whom will remember him fondly. 

Roy Okey Foster leaves behind cherished memories of fatherhood, grandfatherhood, and great-grandfatherhood. He was a true family man who will forever be remembered for his love.

A celebration of life will be planned in the coming weeks.
