Ross Purkis, 70, of Dade City passed away February 7, 2013 at his home. He was born November 11, 1942 in Toronto, Canada to Alwyn and Jean Purkis. He retired as an electrician and was employed by International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.Survivors include his beloved wife of 39 years, Joyce Purkis of Dade City, 3 sons, Todd Purkis of Mayo, FL, Alwyn Purkis of Ridge Manor and Tim (Karen) Purkis of Ridge Manor; granddaughter, Kenadey Purkis of Ridge Manor; sister Dianne Drysdale of Umatilla FL; brother, Barry Purkis of Dade City, ; Step daughter, Susie (Michael) Godsey of Gladys, VA; step grandson, Jonathan (Amanda) Godsey of Lynchburg, VA; step great grandson, Bradley Godsey of Lynchburg, VA.
