Ronnie "Ron" Dewane Thomas, born May 20, 1951 was called home to be with the Lord on September 9th, 2020. A Godly man, Ron was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He and his wife were longtime members of the First Church of God Tabernacle in Fairborn, Ohio. He will be missed dearly by his wife of 46 years, Verna; daughters, Tonya (Kevin), and Melissa (Craig); granddaughter, Skye "short britches"; brother Rick (Sherry) beloved dog, Bailey; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Ron was predeceased by his parents, C.D. and Verdie; and brother, Billie. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Moffitt Cancer Center for their care and compassion. A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held on Saturday, October 24th, 2020, at 11:00am, at the Little Valley Mountain Resort, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
