Ronnie Alvarez, age 72, of Ridge Manor, passed away Monday, April 20th, 2020 in Brooksville.

Ronnie was a native of Florida having been born in Tampa and living there the earlier years of his life. He was born to parents Mike and Flossie (Hartsell) Alvarez who preceded him in death.

Ronnie was a military veteran having served in the Marines during the height of the Viet Nam war and was proud of having done so. Ronnie also served his community as a Police Officer with the Zephyrhills, Dade City and Saint Leo Police Departments' when Saint Leo still boasted a police department.

Surviving Ronnie is his companion of 29 years; Joyce (Joy) McKinney of Ridge Manor, sister Josephine (Josie) Rodriguez, nephew Anthony Leirana Jr., and cousin Daisy Noto (Frank) all of Tampa.

The family will have a Memorial service with burial at Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell Florida at a date yet to be determined.Arrangements by Hodges Family Funeral Home, 301 Chapel Dade City, Fl
