Ronald McDavid Harrelson was born on July 12th, 1954 in Dade City, Florida. He graduated from Pasco High School in 1973 and went on to join the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force he received his Master of Divinity degree with the Assembly of God seminary in Springfield, MO. He became a Chapin in the USAF reserves, pastored Calvary Temple Assembly of God church in Cross City, FL and subsequently Calvary Assembly of God in Dade City, FL. He served as a Chaplin in the Florida Department of Correction at Cross City and Sumter County Correction facilities. He served as a Felony Probation Office with Polk County in which he retired in 2021. His retirement was spent enjoying hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with his beloved family and friends. His annual golfing trips to South Carolina were a favorite of his. He was always laughing and shared joy everywhere he was. He shared his faith which played an integral part in his life. He was a pastor and dear friend to many. He was predeceased by his father, Willie McDavid Harrelson his mother, Thelma Jewelene Harrelson and daughter-in-law Nisa Harrelson. He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Harrelson, Brothers Donnie (Tracy) Harrelson, Wayne (Mandi) Harrelson, and Ricky Harrelson. His children Jim (Robbie) Harrelson, Julie (Jerrel) Harrelson-Vunovich, Jeremiah (Jenny) Richwine, Joshua (Bebe) Richwine. Granchildren Brooke (Victor) Harrelson, Bailey (AC) Cramer, Hannah (Trey) Limoges, Hailey (JW) Nichols, Dalton (Makenzie) Harrelson, Emile Limoges, Brean Richwine, and Jeremiah Richwine. Great grandchildren Everly Smith, Adilynn Nichols, and Calix Cramer. And many more family and friends.
