Obituary

Ronald R. Boulay of Zephyrhills, FL, and the beloved husband of Francine (Cratty) Boulay died unexpectedly on December 11, 2021. Ron was a gentle man and a gentleman who was loved by all whom he met. He was predeceased by his parents Lawrence Boulay Sr. and Alice Boulay of Enfield, Ct., along with several relatives and close friends. Ron and Fran were married after a love at first sight romance for more than 51 years. He was a musician from a very young age, a dedicated family man, a friend to many with whom he worked, and a member of Cha-Wi-Ma campground where he spent over 20 years and secured multiple life-long friendships. Together they raised their shining stars Glenn (married to Amy Tetreault) and Aprilyn (engaged to Kurt Liburd) both of Windham, Ct. He was blessed with four amazing grandsons, Aaron (with significant other Brianna Leblanc), and Brendon Goulette, Trevor, and Zach Boulay. Ron had struggled for many years with life threatening side affects of diabetes and hoped that retirement life in FL would improve his health but, in the end, he died from a subdermal hematoma. Ron is also survived by his sister Joanne and her daughters of New Britain, his identical twin brother Don, and his family in Ma., Larry of Enfield, Ct., and Frans loving extended family members along with his favorite aunt Juliette Corriveau of New Britain, many other relatives, and close friends. The family is grateful to the multitude of healthcare providers over the past ten years especially Dr. Peter Blume, at Yale, Dr. Nguyen at Advent Health Wound Center, Dr. Kadri, Dr. Futral of the VA., many home care providers, Advent Health ICU and Seasons Hospice of Tampa. Celebration of life services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations are requested in lieu of flowers, etc. to provide continued Music Therapy and tender end of life care to: Seasons Hospice and Palliative 1408 N. Westshore Blvd. Suite 260 Tampa, FL 33607 or @Seasons.org, these were angels who provided music therapy, memorable music for Rons homecoming, and support for our family during this tear-filled emotional journey for our dearest father and the love of our moms life.
