Ronald Francis Bodine, Ron, 74, formerly of Livonia, NY passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at his home in Dade City, Florida. He is predeceased in death by his parents William, Sr. and Cora A. Bodine, brother Bill, and nephew Scott. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Elizabeth (Tombrink), his sister, Laura (Woodruff), his four children: Michael, Michelle Johnson, Megan Tupinamba (Thiago), and Mallory Davis (TJ), five grandchildren: Nick and Christopher Hermann, Cole Johnson, Audrey Davis, and Sophia Tupinamba, great-grandchildren Nathan and Emily Hermann. Ron was an operating engineer and a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers (Local 925). His work with the union took him to West Virginia, Florida, New York, and Pennsylvania. He made many good and lifelong friends through his work with both the union and when working locally in the Tampa Bay area. Ron retired in 2015. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and his two labs, Tally and Bear. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 10 AM at Saint Anthony of Padua Church in San Antonio, Florida. Burial will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.
