Blizzard, Roland L., 59, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at the Gulfside Center for Hospice Care in Zephyrhills. Born October 7, 1953 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, he was the son of Margaret (Boltinghouse) Blizzard and the late Earl Blizzard. He leaves behind his mother; his son, Robert (Kristen), of Lakeland, FL; a sister, Gail (Gary), of Fayetteville, NC; a brother, Earl (LuAnn), of Tennessee, and his best friend, Sue See, of Dade City, FL. He was predeceased by his father; and brothers, Paul Blizzard and Butch Wood. Roland lived in New Jersey until his family moved to Florida in 1967. He Served in the U.S. Army from 1976 until 1979. He was a truck driver for Carpenter Co., in Lakeland, FL for 17 years. A memorial service will be held on Sunday March 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Zephyrhills Moose Family Center, 3211 Gall Blvd.(US 301), Zephyrhills, FL.
