Robin L. Sylvester was born in Columbus, Ohio, on October 30, 1958, to Donald and Louise Manning. She passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, with her daughter, Nikita, sisters Angel and Monica, and son-in-law Rudy, by her side. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family and to the many people whose lives she touched.

Robin will be remembered for her generous heart, nurturing spirit, faith, and ability to see the good in people. She was the person who showed up, the person who cared, and the person who reminded others to keep their hearts turned toward the Lord.

Her faith was an important part of Robin’s life. She loved the Lord and encouraged others to turn to Him for guidance, strength, and hope. She especially enjoyed singing in church, where she could share her love of music and her faith with others.

Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Manning, and her son, Stephen Sylvester, Jr. She is survived by her father, Donald Manning; daughter, Nikita Sylvester; son-in-law, Rudy Concepcion; grandchildren, Rudy, Mikayla, Elliana, and Kingsley; siblings, including lifelong friend Lori Gay who remained by her side during her toughest days; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Family and friends will miss her deeply, but the love she gave so freely will remain with them always.
