Roberta Jacobs went to be with the Lord on May 7th, 2023, while under the care of Gulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills, FL. Roberta was born on March 12th, 1928, in Woodland, Maine to parents Alfred and Berniece Wardwell. Mrs. Jacobs was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Zephyrhills, FL, and a past member of the United Baptist Church of Caribou, Maine. She worked for many years as a Veterinarian assistant, and owned and operated her own dog grooming business for 26 years. Roberta was an active member in her community, Betmar Park, the Zephyrhills Art Club, a past member of the Caribou Garden club, and an assistant 4-H leader. She is survived by Daughters, Brenda White of Zephyrhills, FL, Dianna Jacobs of Columbia, TN, and Brenda Lee (Ed) of South Casco, ME, 10 grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren, 5 Great Great-grandchildren, Brother, Philip Wardwell of Aroostook N.B. Canada, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Jacobs, Sons, Wayne and Brian Jacobs, Brothers, Robert, Llyod, and Galen Wardwell, and Sister, Betty Wardwell. A private service will be held at a later date at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou, Maine. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the American Heart Association in her honor.
