Roberta "Bobbie" Lynn Ashkenase, 82 of Largo, Florida passed away October 14, 2022 surrounded by her family. Bobbie was born June 1, 1940 in Queens, NY. She grew up in the Bronx, NY and raised her family in White Plains, NY. Beloved wife of 62 years to Elliott Ashkenase and loving mother to David and Jonathan Ashkenase. Devoted grandmother to her 12 grandchildren. Bobbie retired from Marshall's in Largo where she was employed for over 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing Mahjong, bathing in the sun, watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show and listening to Pink Floyd with the love of her life, Elliott. She is survived by her husband Elliott Ashkenase and children David Ashkenase and wife Wendy, Jonathan Ashkenase and wife Judit, and 12 Grandchildren, Sister Jill Newhouse and husband Richard , and numerous nieces and nephews. Bobbie is predeceased by her parents Irving and Anne Udoff, and sister Marcia Presser and husband Richard. She lived a full life, raising a family and enjoying life itself. Bobbie will be remembered and missed deeply. She will be loved forever by her family and friends. No Celebration of Life is planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, Bobbie has asked to consider making a donation to Amercian Cancer Society.
