Robert B. Williams, affectionately known as Bobby by his family and friends, passed away at the age of 75 on June 25, 2024, at his home in Dade City, Florida. Born on July 8, 1948, in Baker, Florida, Bobby grew up in Holt, Florida, and attended Baker High School. Bobby was born to parents Paul Washington Williams and Sara Della (Gorum) Williams. He was part of a large and loving family, with brothers Marvin, Roy, Roger, and Hank, and sisters Marie, Rachel, Velma, Joyce, Pauline, and Barbara. He married the love of his life, Margaret M.L. (Johnson) Williams, and became a devoted stepfather to Shelia Cadenhead and Lisa Cunio, both of whom are now married. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and had many nephews and nieces. Bobby had a long and successful career in parts department management at the dealership level. Outside of work, he enjoyed a variety of hobbies including diving for scallops, hunting, fishing, woodworking, reading, and tinkering with and fixing things. He loved swimming in the rivers back in Crestview, Florida, and cherished the simple joys of nature. Bobby was known for his caring and loving nature. He was always willing to help others and was a great Christian man, admired by all who knew him. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith will be remembered by his family and friends. A funeral service will be held for Bobby on July 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Fl. A time of gathering and visitation will take place prior to service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place after service at Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City, Fl.
